    THE POSITION: The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is the day-to-day client liaison responsible for delivery and project management of the scope and timeline. The SAE will initiate and manage client projects and assure timely, high-quality deliverables. He/she serves as the main communicator of client needs, expectations, and timing to key internal team and external vendors. The SAE will proactively monitor projects and identify/escalate potential time delays, scope changes, or other factors that impact a project’s timing and/or budget.

     

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Main day-to-day client liaison
    • Partners with Project Management to align on and communicate client expectations to internal team
    • Collaborates with internal team on overall project plan, objectives, milestones, and deliverables
    • Provides updates on overall account status to senior Client Services' staff and assists with tasks (as needed)
    • Advises supervisor if timing, quality, or process is not adhered to
    • Communicates timelines and agency expectations to client
    • Develops and manages submission of Client Contact Reports, Change Orders, Status Reports, PRC Trackers, Budget Reports, and Meeting Agendas
    • Advises client if timing is in jeopardy
    • Partners with Marketing Communications/Promotional Managers in communicating timelines for submissions and overall project execution
    • Setting clear direction, effective plans and measurable outcomes
    • Ensuring work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources
    • Engaging employees to maximize their discretionary effort
    • Developing a pipeline of excellent talent to fill future business needs
    • Plans, organizes and coordinates various projects, programs and services.
    • Other duties as assigned

    EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:  Travel - 1-2 days in Wilmington Delaware (as needed)

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • 3+ years' experience in a medical communications agency, consumer marketing is a plus
    • Previous experience executing digital tactics, i.e. email campaigns, website development and video production is required
    • HCP or Consumer AOR experience is required
    • Extensive experience developing and liasoning with programming and production teams working on videos, emails (digital tactics)
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (life sciences preferable; master’s degree a plus)
    • Ability to travel 1-2 days to Wilmington, Delaware as needed
