    The most important aspect of this position is direct responsibility for the successful day to day operation of the shipping and receiving function. Aspects of the position include, but are not limited to supervising Material Handler Associates in the accurate processing and completion of all Inbound and Outbound material.



    • Ability to supervise and lead employees to successful task completion on a daily basis.
    • Possess strong reasoning skills and ability to effectively manage conflict in the workplace.
    • Demonstrated flexibility and composure in response to changing requirements.
    • Ability to effectively plan department functions and mitigate overtime hours when possible.


    • Develop staff members assigned to the area
    • Ensure all operation associates perform their duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable standard operation procedures (SOPs)
    • Complete all special projects assigned by the Operations Manager or their designated representative
    • Demonstrate effective problem investigation and resolution skills
    • Monitor, track and discipline staff employees as necessary.
    • Facilitate a safe operational environment for all employees by strictly complying with and enforcing all EVERSANA safety requirements.


    • Ensure all operations associates are in compliance with Current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
    • Proactively train, demonstrate, instruct, and counsel employees to ensure that SOPs are followed and productivity targets are met
    • Supervise and lead employees through a variable workload of tasks as dictated by dynamic client business needs
    • Work with the Operation Managers to evaluate and implement approved process changes to improve productivity
    • Promptly respond to EVERSANA client requests as required
    • Generate and submit safety incident reports; ensure that all members involved in safety incidents are sent for urinalysis immediately following the incident.





    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:


    • A college degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong communication skills across multiple departments
    • Effective reasoning and problem solving skills
    • Less than 5% travel is required


    Personal Skills/Attributes/Qualifications

    • Strong leadership, planning, organizational capabilities and the ability to utilize strong teamwork skills with other departments are needed.
    • The Supervisor must also be able to efficiently use software and computer programs.
