    This position is primarily responsible for working closely with developers, infrastructure and architecture teams to improve velocity and quality of delivery while coordinating with infrastructure resources and architects on environment impacting changes in a non-elastic environment. This position will be based on-site at an EVERSANA office in Cincinnati, St. Louis, or Milwaukee.

    Responsibilities

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    1. Comfortable managing communication between development, infrastructure and management leaders.
    2. Drive initiatives to improve stability and delivery of custom application code and infrastructure.
    3. Responsible for handling the tooling that builds and deploys customer application code
    4. Review and monitor application logs, determine the cause and fix to prevent future issues (Root Cause Analysis)
    5. Work in a self-directed environment.
    6. Generate and install SSL certificates to protect the traffic between servers
      Configure Windows, and Java application server security controls.
    7. Evaluate and understand storage needs, suggest improvements and best practices.
    8. Forward thinking with understanding of how to automate systems to improve system efficiency.
    9. Willingness to learn and teach others.
    10. Open dialogue with business leaders to facilitate input and drive improvements.
    11. Cooperate with IT staff on all initiatives.
    12. Other tasks and projects as assigned.

    Technical Skills:

    Must have critical thinking skills.

    Familiar with Docker or Kubernetes.
    Understanding of all server systems.
    Significant experience with Windows based systems. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux is a plus.
    Significant experience with server administration including patching, security updates, capacity planning, etc.

    DevOps, Continuous Integration, Automation experience is preferred.

     

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
