    The Training Specialist is responsible for the design, development and implementation of skill-based education and training modules, including OJT competency checklists, deployed in an eLearning environment.  He or she will assist in site administration of the learning management system (LMS).  Other duties include assessment of L&D needs for the indicated staff and the intervention design, development, delivery, and assessment of learning outcomes addressing the identified needs.



    • A solid understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles and how to apply them to both online and instructor led training
    • The ability to help current and newly hired employees understand and utilize the training resources available
    • Creation of effective and engaging content to support the EVERSANA organization training goals
    • Successful implementation of new and existing training programs that meet client and patient requirements
    • Effective teamwork/team building at all levels and areas of the company


    Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

    • Participate in Training development, deployment and enhancement strategies
    • Coordinate and conduct on-line, classroom and on-the-job training for both job tasks and system utilization
    • Design and develop program materials, forms, assessments, and OJT competency checklists (both e-Learning and instructor lead) based on target population needs and outcome goals
    • Collaborate with care/functional teams and quality to maintain current processes integrated into learning interventions
    • Assist in development of work instructions as needed
    • Work with the LMS administrator to ensure training modules are populated into the LMS based on population-specific user groups as agreed upon by management, quality, and training
    • Conduct ongoing reviews of materials and update as needed
    • All other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM Qualifications:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.


    • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning, or education
    • Two years of experience designing, developing and delivering curriculum in a corporate environment
    • Excellent verbal, written, and consultative communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    • Proficiency in Articulate e-Learning and Camtasia
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet organizational goals
    • Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization
    • Some travel may be required


    Preferred qualifications:


    • Master’s degree in Adult Education, HRG, Instructional Design or related field
    • Experience designing, developing and delivering curriculum in a corporate environment is a plus
    • Proficiency in Visio and Camtasia
    • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies, such as HTML



    This is a largely sedentary role.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, type and engage in repetitive motion.

    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and intermittently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
