    THE POSITION:

    The most important aspect of this position is the direct responsibility for the successful execution of all DC business functions, which include on time, complete, accurate shipments at the lowest possible cost. This position is also directly accountable for the integrity of all client inventory within the Fontana facility, through the successful execution of business processes that include receipts, returns, replenishment, physical inventories and inventory destructions. Current Pharmaceutical experience is a must.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The incumbent is expected to grow and develop all staff members by requiring the management of each area to develop formal personal and career development plans for each employee. Another requirement is the development of effective performance metrics for the positions within the department and putting in place an effective measurement process for each staff member that will support performance reviews.
    • The incumbent is expected to invest significant effort in continually evaluating the efficiency, productivity and accuracy levels and making process improvements to attain high levels of achievement in each area. This duty/responsibility includes effective problem investigation and resolution skills through utilization of the corporate CAPA program.
    • The incumbent will be expected to develop an annual department budget which will include revenue and expense targets, and then achieve this budget through effective expense management.
    • The incumbent will be expected to participate in sales presentations to prospective clients and support all existing clients as required for issues related to the area of responsibility. The incumbent must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills. Selling of prospects on EVERSANA’s capabilities and ensuring existing client retention are two extremely critical job functions for the incumbent.

     

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

    • At least one (1) year of Current Pharmaceutical Distribution experience REQUIRED
    • College Degree and/or a minimum of 10 years distribution leadership experience, preferably in life science services.
    • Language Skills- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for this position
    • Mathematical Skills- The position is not task oriented but is mostly focused on data analysis, trend analysis and other statistical analysis requiring more complex tools.
    • Strong reasoning skills are needed for this position.
    • The position requires a majority of communication cross department, frequently with clients and requires formal presentations. The position also requires an extensive amount of reading and authoring of written communications to management, clients and other external entities.
    • The position deals mostly with unplanned events and problems requiring effective reasoning and problem solving skills.

     

    Personal Skills/Attributes/Qualifications

    • Strong leadership, planning, organizational capabilities and the ability to utilize strong teamwork skills with other departments are needed.
    • The position is mostly using technical systems and tools a majority of the time.
    • It requires effective teamwork at all levels of the company and frequently with client and external entities.
    • The position is focused on resolving special non-standard business issues and client problems requiring management involvement and review.
    • It is also highly focused on managing events, both expected and unexpected by using effective planning and organizing skills.
    • The position is also focused on continuous quality improvement throughout the organization, across all departments.
    • It has direct supervisory responsibility over a team of exempt and non-exempt employees.
    • The position is frequently responsible for project and team leadership roles with the success of the leadership measured as part of the incumbent’s performance.
