    THE POSITION:

    The IT Technical Leader of EDI for Channel Support Services is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of business process and technology related EDI solutions across the Channel Support Services business and other business areas as needed. Collaborates with assigned business operational leadership to provide support and services across their associated EDI technology projects and solutions in production.

    Responsibilities

    CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Providing cross-functional expertise in delivering services and solutions for IBM Sterling B2B Integrator with a focus on EDI standards.
    • Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, trading partner configurations and processes.
    • Expected to fill the role as a lead technical consultant on one or multiple projects acting as a solution advisor and managing internal and external business relationships is vital to the role.
    • Create and present statement of work proposals, participate in sessions with business leaders and customers.
    • Strong attention to detail in business process improvements, ability to understand the end to end business process, and ensuring those business processes align with the best practices in EDI implementations.
    • Provide technical and project leadership for a team of EDI technology professionals.
    • Responsible for using strong technical design and analytical skills to set a vision for the team including continuous operational improvements.
    • Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success.
    • Stays abreast of changing technology trends and able to incorporate new technology or methodologies quickly.
    • Managing a broad project portfolio of continuous improvement projects to increase capabilities provided to the business.
    • Solid experience in problem analysis, resolution and change management.
    • Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Proficient in managing multiple simultaneous projects, resource management and budgeting
    • Accountable for providing operational SLAs and support delivering application uptime and performance SLAs
    • Be an escalation resource for technical issues across assigned business functional areas
    • Develop and maintain qualification documentation, standard operating procedures and work instructions for production management
    • Manage incident and service requests, escalations and external communications
    • Maintain and enforce ITIL standards and procedures specifically with Change Management
    • Manage vendor relationships
    • Configure, maintain, tune, and monitor EDI technology platform
    • Troubleshoot communications, translations, integrations and application performance issues
    • Research, design, recommend and implement integration patterns, frameworks and technology
    • Manage additional EDI vendor solutions as needed

     

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM qualifications:

     

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer related field
    • Must be strong at both working as part of a team and independently as required
    • Minimum of ten years of relevant EDI experience includes working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
    • Strong technical leadership, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build effective partnerships across all organizational levels, including internal teams and external clients
    • Proven track record of managing complex EDI operational business system production environments
    • Project management, communication and follow-through
