    THE POSITION:

    The Director of IT Services for Channel Support Services is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of business process and technology related solutions across the Channel Support Services business. Collaborates with assigned business operational leadership to provide support and services across their associated technology projects and solutions in production.

    Responsibilities

    Critical RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Providing cross-functional expertise in delivering services and solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (D365) with a focus on order management, warehouse management and transportation management.
    • Requires business and application experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain functionality for managing orders, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
    • Expected to fill the role as a lead technical consultant on one or multiple projects acting as a solution advisor and managing business relationships is vital to the role.
    • Strong attention to detail in business process improvements, ability to understand the end to end business process, and ensuring those business processes align with the best practices in D365 implementations.
    • Managing and leading a team of business analysts, developers, quality assurance analysts and system analysts.
    • Responsible for using strong technical design and analytical skills to set a vision for the team including continuous operational improvements.
    • Solid experience in problem analysis, resolution and change management.
    • Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
    • Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success.
    • Stays abreast of changing technology trends and able to incorporate new technology or methodologies quickly.
    • Managing a broad project portfolio of continuous improvement projects to increase capabilities provided to the business.

    Essential duties and Responsibilites:

    • Works with a team to design, implement and support business system solutions in supporting of assigned business functional areas
    • Proficient in managing multiple simultaneous projects, resource management and budgeting
    • Accountable for providing operational SLAs and support delivering application uptime and performance SLAs
    • Be an escalation resource for technical issues across assigned business functional areas
    • Develop and maintain qualification documentation, standard operating procedures and work instructions for production management
    • Manage incident and service requests, escalations and external communications
    • Maintain and enforce ITIL standards and procedures specifically with Change Management
    • Effectively lead team(s) to include talent acquisition, performance management, mentoring, professional development and continuous feedback 
    • Effectively lead indirect resource teams, including contractors and other third-party resources and other outsourced technology providers
    • Manage vendor relationships

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM qualifications:

     

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer related field
    • 10+ years of experience in technology, business process improvement and client consulting
    • Minimum of five years of relevant ERP experience includes working with Microsoft Dynamics, preferably current version D365
    • Strong leadership, business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to build effective partnerships across all organizational levels, particularly with senior management and operating business leaders
    • Proven track record of managing complex operational business system production environments
    • Project management, communication and follow-through
    • Vendor and contract negotiation

    • Experience with JDA RedPrairie
    • Experience with Microsoft .NET
