    The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the home nursing services needed for all new and existing patients.  The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will provide clinical support and education to patients/families, field infusion nurses, facility nurses and pharmacists, physicians, and other health care members, as needed to help ensure the highest quality of patient care.

    essential duties and responsibilites:

    • Interface between program patients, payers, physicians, nursing agencies, facilities, and Patient Advocacy Groups to to ensure quality nursing services are delivered to patients.
    • Follow up with program patients and associated nursing agencies/nurse consultants to proactively support patient care
    • Manage the hiring, training and evaluation of contracted Nurse Consultants
    • Perform patient/family education about disease state, management/plan of care, medication use and side effects
    • Coordinate with the Pharmacists, PSCs, and reimbursement team, to support patient medication and supply needs
    • Collaborate with Nursing Network to manage nursing agency and contracted Nurse Consultant contracts


    • Manage adverse events reporting according to SOP
    • Provide patients/families, field infusion nurses, facility nurses and pharmacists, physicians, and other health care members with continual support and education
    • All other duties as assigned
    • 10% travel may be required

    MINIMUM qualifications:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

    • Registered nurse, licensed in the state of Missouri
    • Analytical, creative, and excellent interpersonal skills essential
    • Computer proficiencies, including Microsoft office
    • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment, makes clinical decisions, and maintains confidential information.


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
    • 5 + years relevant clinical nursing experience, home health or infusion preferred
    • CPR, CRNI certification desirable



    Performing the duties of this job is mainly sedentary work, yet the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, grasp or feel objects, tools, or controls; often using repetitive motion. The employee frequently is required to sit; reach with hands and arms; push, pull or lift objects; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.     Working ENVIRONMENT:

     A well-lighted and ventilated working area that has its own temperature control system (air conditioning and heat).  The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
