    As a valued member of the Corporate Marketing, Public Relations & Communication team, this position will manage employee engagement and internal communication programs for the Dohmen Company and its portfolio of companies.  The position will help shape the perception and identity of Dohmen and its divisions to employees and key influencers via multi-media communication vehicles and leadership events. The ultimate goal of the communication strategy will be to deliver consistent and compelling messaging across designated audiences to achieve:

    • Engaged and well-informed employees across multiple corporate divisions and locations
    • Best-in-class communications channels for online and offline employees
    • Brand awareness and key message consistency across all communications
    • Competitive differentiation in the industry

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Promote the vision, mission(s) and values of the Dohmen family of companies through the development of high-quality, compelling communications strategies
    • Partner with divisional and functional business leaders to understand, inform and influence employees within multiple businesses and locations
    • Manage corporate employee communication resources and provide full service offering to all divisions, including executive communications, intranet, mobile applications, signage, training, videos, news articles and more
    • Create integrated communications that consistently and accurately reinforce key messages and brand identity
    • Develop a brand ambassador program that engages employees in the promotion of Dohmen and its family of brands
    • Partner with IT, graphic design and marketing partners to assess, develop, manage and measure digital communication channels
    • Assist with external communications and reputation management, including public relations, thought leadership, social media and media monitoring.
    • Follow and enforce style guidelines and corporate standards.
    • Ensure all communication deliverables are of the highest quality, are error-free and enhance the image and perception of Dohmen and its family of brands

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Ability to build relationships with key internal customers
    • Ability to manage and execute communication plans for multiple audiences
    • Ability to take complex topics and communicate them effectively
    • Demonstrated ability to tell stories and find creative ways to make a messagge relevant and compelling
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
    • Experience with developing web site content and managing content management systems
    • Proven impactful writing skills to inform and engage employees and other stakeholder audiences
    • Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities
    • Occasional travel requirements may be required: less than 10%

     

    Personal Skills/Attributes/Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in an employee engagement or internal communications role, in a corporate, multi-site environment
    • Exceptional writing skills for print, multimedia and digital channels
    • Ability to work independantly, prioritize tasks and manage to deadlines
    • Bachelor’s Degree required; Marketing, Communications or PR degree
    • Creative, positive thinker and team-minded contributor
